Cesare Frisina achieved the Violin diploma at the Conservatorium “Arcangelo Corelli” under the supervision of Luigi Fusconi. He furthered his studies with Franco Mezzena at the music academy of Pescara, continued his academic formation in Rome with Antonio Salvatore, in Alghero with Janos Meszaros and in Milan with Gigino Maestri. Successively he achieved a Chamber Music diploma in “duo” Violin-Piano in 1993 at the academy in Pescara. He attained a DAMS (discipline of arts, music and entertainment) degree at the university of Bologna. Furthermore he published a “Short Bow Method” through the record studio UTORPEUS. He has covered the position of Artistic director of “Chamber Music and Violin Master Class” for the association “Pro Loco Artemisia” at Castroreale (ME). In addition he performed as solo violin though multiple orchestras and chamber concerts such as “Ars Musica, Camerata Polifonica Siciliana” etc. alongside artists of fame such as Franco Mezzena. He was also requested as concert master for the incision of two tracks by the Conservatorium “A. Corelli” (ME) and a V. Bellini original track by the orchestra of “Camerata Polifonica Siciliana”. He curated the restoration and transcription of Placido Mandanici’s manuscript “Messa di Requiem” in Barcellona P.G. to celebrate the authors’ two hundred years anniversary. He was involved in the recording of Lazzaro’s original tracks with the Conservatorium’s orchestra “A. Corelli” (ME). He co-founded the project Ethos Quintet through which saw him performing the repertoire of Astor Piazzolla in numerous important associations within the region for many years. With the band “Terrae compagnie di musiche Popolari” Cesare was involved in the creation and record of innovative forms of music language which sparked many positive critiques within focused music magazines. His most recent project saw him developing a particular genre characterised by the intersection of digital sounds and violin named “Violin Tronics” published by the record studio “Diaphonia” with the intent of exploring a new musical medium. During his career as an artist Cesare has occupied the role of violin teacher at the music institutes of “Arcangelo Corelli” in Messina, “G. Verdi” in Cuneo and “F. Venezze” in Rovigo where he is currently employed.
